Designation

When you start the system for the very first time everyone is considered a KOR Unit. This is your default name until changed. EXAMPLE: KOR Unit (KOR-50B-00-2705)

Within the Designation menu it is structured by NAME & LABEL. So what are they?

What is NAME?

The name part is referring to the KOR Unit part of KOR Unit (KOR-50B-00-2705). So when you're changing this you're only changing the FIRST half. Your serial number is left unchanged.

So if you changed KOR Unit to Flosk it would look like this.

EXAMPLE: Flosk (KOR-50B-00-2705)

What is LABEL?

Label is referring to both the NAME and the SERIAL number. When you change this it will change both the NAME and SERIAL entirely.

So if you went into LABEL and typed in Flosk it replaces KOR Unit (KOR-50B-00-2705) entirely.

EXAMPLE: KOR Unit (KOR-50B-00-2705) -> Flosk

Label is good to use if you're not wanting to stick with the pre-generated serial number and wanting to name yourself something more unique.
